The SIIP Team

The SIIP Team includes Collaborating Organizations and Backbone Support Staff. The work of the SIIP Team is guided by our Community Advisory Group.

Collaborating Organizations

Stakeholders in Waterloo Region will be invited to submit proposals to expand or create new intergenerational partnerships. Each proposal will represent a collaboration among multiple community partners. Up to five proposals will be accepted for funding.

Backbone Support

The Research Institute for Aging (RIA) serves as the SIIP backbone organization. We will bring together individuals and groups across Waterloo Region to identify needs and opportunities within the community and work together to create solutions. RIA will provide project management and communications support, coordinate the evaluation strategy, and facilitate development of a community-led collective impact plan.
